To start Vanderbilt University announced that it has secured $300 million in funding, which will enable the university to begin construction on a new campus in West Palm Beach in the near future. In addition, the university is launching a $250 million campaign aimed at establishing a graduate business school in downtown West Palm Beach. Local support has played a crucial role in this project, with the City of West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County contributing seven acres of government-owned land for the new campus. The planned location will be situated between Fern Street and Evernia Street near the Tri-Rail station and Dryfoos School of the Arts.

Tech giant ServiceNow is making a major move to West Palm Beach, with plans to establish its regional headquarters at 10 City Place in the heart of downtown. The facility is expected to open in 2028, with construction to be completed by 2027. ServiceNow is the first major tech company to plant roots in downtown West Palm Beach and believes the move will encourage similar companies to follow. Renderings of the future headquarters show a modern building that will stand multiple stories high and serve as a new centerpiece in the city’s growing business district. With high wages, a prime location, and the backing of state and local officials, the new ServiceNow headquarters is poised to become one of the largest employers in Palm Beach County. The California-based tech company will bring more than 850 high-paying jobs to downtown West Palm Beach.
